Connah's Quay Nomads were crowned JD Welsh Cup champions for the first time in the club's history thanks to a 4-1 victory over Aberystwyth Town.

Williams originally came through The Nomads Academy, winning the U19s Welsh Premier League in 2012. Williams left Deeside to join Buckley Town where he enjoyed good success and returned to Deeside in January 2020.
