Walking Football (Men and Women)
For those who wish to continue playing football after a life long progression from Mini Roos to Seniors and even veterans, Walking Football is the answer. This non-contact version of the game has become increasingly popular. It’s exactly what it sounds like- a 5, 6 or 7 a-side game of football where players walk instead of run. It’s designed to help people get fit or maintain an active lifestyle no matter what their age and fitness. And it’s not just health benefits, Walking football also offers social benefits. Participants can meet new people, avoid becoming isolated, and interact with individuals and small groups.
Aimed at those of us who no longer regularly take part in sport due to age or health issues, this is one sporting activity that is suitable for all. Find out more here.
Junior Divisions
Ballina Soccer Club has one of the largest junior player base on the North Coast, from Grade 6 to Grade 16. Ballina has a great range of both boys and girls in all divisions, focusing on fun, participation and competition. Find out more here.
